To the Editor:

Just what did Hillary Clinton do to deserve such a venomous letter by Sam Parente (Deceivers in the Democratic Party, 6/8/17)?

I must assume Parente cast his vote for Donald Trump. If so what did the nation get? A so-called president who is a pathological liar, an admitted sexual predator, one who worships Vladimir Putin while he scorns our own intelligence agencies. Never has there been a cabinet where its members are so ill-suited for their posts. Trump is a man so insecure he recently gathered his lackeys at a meeting where they were urged to pledge their loyalty and heap praise on their master. Trump is so afraid of the truth he regularly attacks the news media crying "fake news". He has pulled many shady deals during his business career including his defunct so-called university. Now Trump is being sued for using his office to further his family business and is presently under the scrutiny of the FBI for possible obstruction of justice.

The White House is in a state of constant turmoil with new scandals popping up almost daily. Trump's ridiculous tweets and outrageous behavior have become the norm and have caused a rift among our staunchest allies. In his few short months in office Trump has already committed several impeachable offenses according to some legal scholars. With his family running the business of the United States government our nation is beginning to resemble a fiefdom instead of a republic.

I suggest that Parente suspend his reading of the classics and instead delve into the history of American presidents and compare them to our present disaster. While at it, he should re-examine the definition of the word "vile" – as in Trump!

Still with the whining and sniveling, almost eight months after the election. It's going to be a long 8-16 years for the snowflakes...

Well written. Many people in this country have been sucker punched by Donald Trump and don't know it yet. The wheels will come off the Trump cart before too long and it won't be the liberals or the press or the Muslims but his own doing. Then we'll really hear the whining.

    Hey anthony,

If you have to ask what Hillary Rotten Clinton did to receive/deserve such a venomous letter you must have been asleep for the last 20 years. Trump would have to commit a dozen felonies to even come close to corrupt Hillary.
