5 from Warwick earn New Haven honors

The following Warwick students were named to the dean's list at the University of New Haven for the spring 2012 semester: Maria Dias; Katharine Henshall; Shelby Pickering; Joshua Welshman; Shawn White.

Leddy graduated from Wheaton Lindsay Leddy of Warwick has graduated cum laude from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., with a degree in Biology. Leddy, a member of the Class of 2012, also earned dean's list honors for the spring 2012 semester.

Local Students earn UVM degrees

Three area students graduated with bachelor degrees at the University of Vermont’s 209th commencement ceremony. Warwick graduates Nicholas E. Archer received a BS in Environmental Sciences and Michaela A. Seminara a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Brittany B. Rhodes of East Greenwich received a BS in Neuroscience.

Area Residents Graduate From Quinnipiac University The following Warwick residents graduated from Quinnipiac University during the 81st undergraduate commencement exercises on May 20: David Buonaiuto, BA in Sociology; Kayla Coogan, BA in English; Kristen Di Filippo, BA in Psychology; Kristen Di Filippo, BA in History; Danielle Sequira, BA in Health and Science Studies; and Elizabeth Wood, BA in Sociology.

Area students earn Keene State College honors

Several East Greenwich students have been named to the Keene State College dean’s list for the spring semester 2012. They are: Kateland Elizabeth Dittig; Ian Mathews Dolan; Chloe Rose Edmonds; Davis Glenn Fitch; Max Mark Ruginski; Diana Marie Schaller; Elisabeth Jayne Thompson and Claire McDonnell.

Gibbs awarded BA Degree

Warwick resident Sarah Gibbs received a BA in Visual Design, Graphic Design and Letterform, graduating cum laude from UMass Dartmouth.

Earning Connecticut honors Two local students have made the dean’s list during spring semester at Connecticut College. Paige McClatchy of East Greenwich and Mia Rotondi of Warwick earned honors.

Area residents awarded PC degrees During Providence College’s 94th commencement ceremony on May 20, the following Warwick residents received undergraduate degrees: Amanda Dailey, BA in Studio Art; Alicia Greco, BA in American Studies; Shannon Hyle, BA in American Studies, graduating summa cum laude; Nathan Ricci, BS in Political Science and Philosophy, graduating summa cum laude; and Steven Shushtari, BA in Accountancy.

East Greenwich graduates include: Marc Capuano, BA in Health Policy and Management and Spanish, graduating summa cum Laude; Christina Fazzano, BS in Finance; Carl Lichtenfels, BA in Economics; and Robert Swift, BA in Health Policy and Management.

D'Eletto graduates Assumption Warwick resident Nicholas D'Eletto graduated from Assumption College with a Bachelor of Arts degree at the 95th commencement ceremony.

Atwood earns BA from PC

Patrick Atwood of Warwick received a BA in History during Providence College’s 94th commencement ceremony. Atwood was among the 34 students who received undergraduate degrees from PC’s School of Continuing Education.

PC awards Master degrees

Among the students who graduated at Providence College’s 94th commencement ceremony, the following Warwick residents were awarded Master degrees: Laurence Birmingham, MS in Education Administration; Mary Ann Dailey, MA in History; Meredith Garrity, MS in Special Education; Edward Medeiros, MS in Special Education; Joanna Nagelhout, MS in Guidance and Counselor Education; Kelley Tinaro, MS in Special Education.

East Greenwich residents that graduated with Masters are:

Samantha Cavanagh, MS in Guidance and Counselor Education; Cathy Gibney DiColo, MA in History; Dean Healey, MA in Mathematics; Jennalee Lopes, MS in Education Administration; and Diana Manalang, MS in Business Administration.

Zito earns honors

Christopher A. Zito of Warwick, who is majoring in computer engineering, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2012 semester at Clarkson University.
