Agnes ((Halloran) King, age 79, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 17, 2018, at Steere House in Providence. She was the wife of the late Francis J. King.

Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Daniel B. and Winifred (Barby) Halloran, she lived in Warwick since 1972. Mrs. King was employed by the State of Rhode Island as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 31 years, retiring in 2001. Earlier she was employed at St. Elizabeth Home in Providence. She was an active parishioner and eucharistic minister at St. Timothy Church in Warwick, and an associate member of the Sisters of Mercy, Northeast Community. She was a member and Past Regent of St. Benedict Circle Daughters of Isabella. Agnes was a member of Ireland 32.

She is survived by a sister, Catherine E. Phillips and her husband Robert, of Johnston; five nieces; and several grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Daniel C. Halloran.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 22, at 10 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited, and may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
