Albert L. Lessard


-, 92, of Minnesota Avenue died October 12, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Ann K. (Perrotti) Lessard to whom he was married for 63 years.

Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, a son of the late Leo and Mildred (Bleau) Lessard, he had lived in Warwick for the past 47 years. Mr. Lessard was a manager at the Leviton Manufacturing Company for 24 years before retiring in 1988. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. Mr. Lessard was a member of the Warwick Knights of Columbus and the Goddard Park Senior Golf League.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Mark S. Lessard of Cumberland and Steven L. Lessard of Warwick, one daughter, Kathleen M. Miller of Warwick; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Marion Belanger, Patricia Lund, Adrien Lessard, Louis ‘Billy’ Lessard, the late Carmelita Mansfield, Lillian Carpenter, Henry and Ernest Lessard.

His funeral will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd. Warwick at 10 a.m. Calling hours Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
