Albert M. “Cookie” DeLory

Albert M. “Cookie” DeLory, 77, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Gentile) DeLory.

He was a son of the late John and Rose (Rose) DeLory. He was employed as a shipper/receiver for Leviton Manufacturing Co., before retiring. Mr. DeLory was an active member of the Tri-City Elks Lodge #14. Four years ago, he was given the Presidents Volunteer Service Award for the countless hours put in at the lodge. He was awarded Elk of the Year five times. He was a member of the Shriners, a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, the Warwick Sportsman Association, and the Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire Company. He was an associate member of the William Shields American Legion Post #43, was an avid boater, and loved to travel.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Scott M. DeLory and his wife, Pamela, and Richard A. DeLory and his wife, Mary; two brothers, Robert and Raymond DeLory; two sisters, Hope Cambio and Rosalyn Flanders; and two grandchildren, Michael A. DeLory and Jae R. DeLory. He was the brother of the late John DeLory Jr., Joseph DeLory and Arline Lucier.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, June 1 from 12-3 p.m., with a service to follow at 3 p.m. in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
