Alice V. (Silva) Bubar, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at home. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. Bubar, Sr. for 59 years.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gloria (Vincente) Silva.
Alice was the loving mother of Cheryl A. Smith, Lori M. Kuhn, Robert E. Bubar, Jr., Susan L. Bubar and Paula J. Bubar; loving grandmother of William, Paul, Jessica, Alyssa and Ian; loving great-grandmother of Bianca, Noelle, Alana, Michael, Daniel and Bryson; sister of Hortense Grant and the late Mary Bruyere- Presbrey, Irene Laprocina, Josephine Downey, Dorothy Brush, Catherine Panizza, Joseph Silva, Jr. and John Silva. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday May 13, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park.
