Amalia Lynch, 97, formerly of Post Rd., Warwick, Valley Stream, N.Y., expired peacefully January 8, 2012 at Sunny View Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Albert N. Lynch.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Belvedere) Crimi. Mrs. Lynch had been an executive secretary for the former Joseph E. Seagram and Sons, Ltd. in Manhattan.
She is survived by her daughters, Eileen M. Wright and her husband, C. Charles Wright, and Marie C. Hennedy and her husband, John F. Hennedy, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She also tenderly mothered the late William A. Lynch.
Her funeral will be held Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. from Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., East Greenwich, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd., Warwick. She will be buried with her husband on Long Island on Jan. 13.
