Local celebrities who had their pictures taken with dogs and cats up for adoption at the East Greenwich Animal Rescue League, friends and family turned out for a fundraiser Saturday at Crestar Picture Framing in East Greenwich. During the evening people were able to bid on the more than 30 photographs that had been taken by professional photographers who volunteered their services for the cause. Warwick Beacon reporter, and a devote league volunteer, Kim Kalunian, conceived and organized the event. She is pictured here with her mother, Karen, selling raffle tickets. And showing off her portrait is league president Tammy Flanagan. The event raised more than $4,000.
