Anna Annicone

Anna Annicone, 89, passed away peacefully after a rour month illness on Sunday, March 25, 2018. She was the wife of the late Anthony Annicone Sr. for 54 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Melino) Ciruolo. Anna was formerly employed by her uncle Tony as a hairdresser at Anthony’s Beauty Shoppe and as a saleswoman at the Shepherd’s Department store and Outlet Company in Providence. She was then a cashier at Brown University Bookstore for 27 years, retiring in 2010. She lived in Warwick for 63 years and was a parishioner of Saint Peter’s Parish. She was a kind, gentle and loving woman who touched many people through her various jobs throughout her years. Anna will be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves her beloved sons, Anthony Jr. and James F. Annicone, both of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Anthony Ciruolo.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 3 at 9:45 a.m. from the Hoey-Arpin-Williams-King Funeral Home, 168 Academy Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Saint Peter’s Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick.
