Anne May (Nerone) Dansereau

Anne May (Nerone) Dansereau, at the age of 59, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2017, due to medical complications. She was the beloved wife of David Alan Dansereau for the past 39 years.

Born in Providence, RI, Anne was the daughter of the late William S. Nerone M.D., F. A. C. S., and Mary Evelyn Nerone (Wetzel) BSN, RN. As a child she attended St. Mary Academy - Bay View near her home, which also served as her father's medical office, in Riverside, Rhode Island. Anne worked as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier for the past 13 years. She spent a few years as a flight attendant. She also volunteered as a teacher's assistant at Apponaug Christian Academy for 14 years while her children were enrolled there.

Her love of life was infectious and evident on all occasions, from festive celebrations to simple, quiet get-togethers with family and friends. Her genuine desire for the success and happiness of others was conveyed in an unforgettable smile, which uplifted our hearts as it lit up her face. She was a faithful member of Calvary Chapel Greenmeadow in North Kingstown, RI. In her downtime, she enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her husband Dave and spending time with her children and her grandson.

Anne is survived by her husband David Dansereau and three children: Matthew Dansereau and wife Amanda of Mansfield, MA; Karen Padraic and her husband Keith of Warren, RI; Susan Dansereau and her fiancé Ara Boghigian of Cranston, RI. She was the beloved grandmother (Panka) to Dashiell Padraic. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Bailey and husband Jack of Warren, RI; her sister Evelyn Kiley and husband Tom of Manassas, VA; her sister Jane Cahan and husband Joseph of St. Louis, MO; her sister Joanne Rafferty and husband William of Richardson, TX; her brother Stephen and wife Dorothy of Seekonk, MA; her brother Joseph and wife Linda of West Warwick; and her sister Mary Willette and husband Brad of Gahanna, OH. Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her brother William Nerone, the late husband of Alison Nerone of Narragansett, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service, which will be held on Saturday, August 12th, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Greenmeadow, 266 Devil's Foot Road, North Kingstown, RI, 02852.
