Anthony J. “Tony” Lozowski


Anthony J. “Tony” Lozowski, 66, a firefighter for the Providence Fire Department, retiring in 1982 died July 11, 2012 at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jacquelyne (Feldman) Lozowski for 24 years.

A son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kukla) Lozowski and stepson of the late Miguel Martins. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Tony was an avid NASCAR fan, attended Seekonk Speedway every weekend for over 40 years and was a former stock car racer at Seekonk, Thompson, Waterford and Hudson Speedways during the 1970’s.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Anthony, Jr., Lawrence and Brandon Lozowski; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and loving nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Lozowski and Eleanor Safron. He is also survived by his faithful best friend, his German Shepherd, “Roxy”.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 17 at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours Monday 2-4; 6-8 p.m.
