6 earn Villanova honors

Villanova University named the following East Greenwich students to the dean's list for the fall 2011 semester: Katherine Boyarsky, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; Vanessa Denice, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences;

Robert Duffy, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences;

Thomas Laferriere, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences;

Stephen Marcaccio, in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences;

Christine Surabian, in the Villanova School of Business.

2 participate in Keene excellence conference

Two East Greenwich residents took part in Keene State College's recent 12th Annual Academic Excellence Conference.

Chloe Edmonds presented on “Piecing Together the Past: Inspiration Through a Survivor of the Holocaust” and Carolyn Lonergan presented on “The (In)Visibility of a Mother and Homosexuality.”

Bieber receives poetry award from Champlain College

Eric Bieber of East Greenwich received the Willard & Maple Poetry Award from Champlain College.

Pearsall inducted into Honor Society

Hannah Pearsall of Warwick was recently inducted into Stonehill College's Honor Society, Lambda Epsilon Sigma. Pearsall is a member of Stonehill's Class of 2013.

Annicelli works with Habitat for Humanity

Devon Annicelli, a resident of East Greenwich and a member of the class of 2014 at Providence College, recently spent a week working with Habitat for Humanity as part of the College's Alternative Spring Break 2012 program.

5 earn Salve Regina honors

The following Warwick residents were named to the dean's list during the fall 2011 semester at Salve Regina University:

Allyson Boucher, a freshman majoring in European History;

Jill Chevian, a junior majoring in Nursing RN-BS;

Jacquelyn Cooke, a junior majoring in Nursing RN-BS;

Robert Desrosiers, a senior majoring in Nursing RN-BS;

Jennifer Edine, a sophomore majoring in Secondary Education & History.

2 earn Colby honors

Matthew J. Levine, Class of 2015 at Colby College; and Laura K. Duff, Class of 2013, both of East Greenwich, were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Colby College.

Guidal earns Kent honors

Bryan Guidal, a student in the 5th form (11th-grade) at Kent School in Kent, Conn., was named to the honor roll for the winter term of 2011-2012. Guidal is a resident of Warwick. Kent is a co-ed college preparatory school founded in 1906 in the tradition of the Episcopal Church.

DiCicco participates in Cornell alternative spring break

Alexander DiCicco of Warwick is one of nearly 70 Cornell College (located in Mount Vernon, Iowa) students taking part in the college's annual Alternative Spring Break. DiCicco is taking part in the trip to Alamosa, Colo.

Flaherty inducted into Marquette Honor Society

Veronica Flaherty of Warwick has been inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, a prestigious honor society, at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Flaherty is a junior in the College of Business Administration majoring in marketing and international business.

Morsilli earns Oxford College honors

Andrew Morsilli of East Greenwich was named to the Merit List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, Ga., for the 2011 fall semester.

Ferrara earns Elmira honors

Rachel Ferrara '13 of Warwick has been named to the dean's list of Academic Achievement for the Fall 2011 Term at Elmira College in New York. Ferrara is majoring in Sociology and Anthropology and Human Services.

Kilpatrick earns honors from Loomis Chaffee

John Kilpatrick, a senior from East Greenwich, has recently been named to the honor roll for the winter term at The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Conn.

Kelsall is club member

Gregory Kelsall a member of the Class of 2012 at Eastern Connecticut State University, is a member of the American Marketing Association Club. Kelsall, of Warwick, is a Business Administration major.
