Dillon Waters begins studies at Emerson
Dillon Waters of Warwick has started at Emerson College as an undergraduate student in the Communication Studies program.

Matthew Hay inducted into 3.0 Club
Matthew Hay of Warwick was recently inducted into the 3.0 Club at American International College in Springfield, Mass.
The 3.0 Club honors student-athletes who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better after at least one year of enrollment at American International College.
Hay, a member of the AIC lacrosse team, is a History major.

Douglas Murphy makes the spring 2012 dean's list
Douglas Murphy, a resident of Warwick, was among the close to 3,000 students from the University of Massachusetts Boston who made the Spring 2012 Dean's List.

Lauren Gallucci enrolls at Coastal Carolina University
Lauren Gallucci, of East Greenwich, has enrolled in Coastal Carolina University. For four consecutive years, Coastal Carolina University has been recognized as one of "America's 100 Best College Buys" in the Institutional Research & Evaluation Inc. annual survey of over 1,200 colleges and universities. CCU has a total enrollment of 9,000 students and offers more than 70 undergraduate programs of study and seven graduate programs.

Residents in Dean College Cabaret
Dean College's well renowned Dance & Theatre programs join forces to feature local residents in a production inspired by song and dance from the last decade. Warwick residents Jamie Rathbun and Megan Dutra, both students, will be starring in the one-night-only production of “Cabaret.”

Murthy at Purdue
Vikram Murthy of East Greenwich joined the Boilermaker community by participating in the annual Boiler Gold Rush program at Purdue University's West Lafayette, Ind. campus.
The mission of Boiler Gold Rush is to orient new students and their families during their transition to Purdue by creating a fun and stimulating environment, providing access to opportunities on campus and in the Lafayette/West Lafayette community, and by offering meaningful activities and leadership opportunities to encourage student success.

Bacon inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta
Daniel Bacon of Warwick was inducted into the Western New England University chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta on Aug. 24 during the university's Convocation ceremony. Bacon is majoring in Pre-Pharmacy.

Davis participates at summer camp
Elise Davis of Warwick, a sociology major at Eastern Connecticut State University, took part in “Puentes al Futoro/Bridges to the Future,” a summer camp for local middle school students, which offers academic instruction in math and language arts. Davis also volunteered as a tutor and mentor under the guidance of a certified teacher at Windham Middle School in Connecticut.
