Local students named to UNH dean's list
The following Warwick students have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year: Emily Flamand earned High Honors; Emily Reddy earned Highest Honors; Mark Walker earned Honors; Dana Labitt earned Honors; Caitlin McCarthy earned Highest Honors; Alexis Kasparian earned Highest Honors; and Tiffany Legare earned Honors. The following East Greenwich students were also named to the UNH dean’s list: Emily Lewin earned High Honors; Susan Navilliat earned Honors; Michelle Riggs earned High Honors; and Melanie Rosen earned High Honors. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest Honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded High Honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded Honors.
Earnshaw named to Colby-Sawyer College dean's list
Emily Ann Earnshaw of Warwick has been named to the Colby-Sawyer College Dean's List for academic achievement during the 2012 fall semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses. Earnshaw, a member of the class of 2016, is majoring in Environmental Studies.
Sullivan named to Saint Michael’s College dean's list
Kaylee Sullivan, daughter of Brian and Kathleen Sullivan of East Greenwich, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Saint Michael's College. Sullivan is a First-Year Exploratory major at the liberal arts residential Catholic college located in Burlington, Vt. Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the Dean's List. Sullivan graduated from East Greenwich High School before coming to Saint Michael's.
Hagerty named to Marquette University dean's list
James Hagerty of Warwick has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Hagerty is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
Zito named to Clarkson University dean's list
Christopher A. Zito of Warwick, a senior majoring in computer engineering, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Clarkson University. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
Roger Williams University announces fall 2012 dean's list
The following local residents are among those to be named to the Roger Williams University Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester: East Greenwich resident Julia Cianciolo, majoring in Creative Writing; East Greenwich resident Rachael Asadorian, majoring in Criminal Justice; East Greenwich resident John Stewart, majoring in Criminal Justice; East Greenwich resident Charles Ryan, majoring in Music; Warwick resident Kara Moreau, majoring in Legal Studies; Warwick resident Jennifer Salisbury, majoring in Legal Studies; Warwick resident Benjamin Korry, majoring in Marine Biology; Warwick resident Aaron Schrank, majoring in Math/Education; and Warwick resident Alix Beamon, majoring in Political Science. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.
Hay named to dean's list at American International College
Matthew Hay of Warwick has been named to the fall 2012 Dean's List at American International College in Springfield, Mass. Hay was one of more than 400 AIC students recognized for their academic achievements. Hay is a junior majoring in Liberal Studies. Dean's List students are full-time students, with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0 for the semester.
Drew University names Kurose to dean's list
Drew University student Benjamin Kurose of East Greenwich has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. In order to qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a grade point average of 3.6 or above.
Area residents named to dean's list at Quinnipiac
The following area residents were named to the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the fall 2012 semester: Chelsea Byrd of Warwick; Alexandra Markarian of East Greenwich; Matthew Morris of Warwick; Michael Pardy of Warwick; Lauren Saunders of East Greenwich; Chloe Sondler of East Greenwich; Christina Zaroogian of East Greenwich; Alison Rossetti of East Greenwich. To qualify for the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible.
Reilly named to LMU dean's list
Elizabeth Reilly of East Greenwich earned a spot on the Loyola Marymount University Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. Students named to the Dean's list have completed 15 semester hours at LMU and earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better. Additionally, a student must have completed all of his or her courses and never received an F in any course.
Local students named to Sacred Heart dean's list
The following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester 2012 at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.: Bridgett Carter of Warwick; Caitlin Isherwood of Warwick; Paul Link of East Greenwich; David Mandeville of East Greenwich; Helene Mayne of East Greenwich; and Shannon Williams of Warwick. To receive this honor, a student must achieve a 3.6 grade average, based on a 4.0 scale.
