Banjo Bob All-Stars bringing Dixieland to library

Enjoy a concert of New Orleans Jazz by the Banjo Bob All-Stars Dixieland Band at Warwick Public Library on Sunday, January 26 at 2 p.m. Also known as Dixieland and Traditional Jazz, New Orleans Jazz is happy and joyful music. Hear an authentic performance by six of New England’s hottest musicians: Jeff Hughes on trumpet, Billy Novick on clarinet and sax, Dan Fox on trombone, Jon Wheatley on guitar, Justin Meyer on bass fiddle, and Bill Reynolds on drums. The All-Stars will play a selection of Banjo Bob Sundstrom’s Dixieland favorites in honor of the prominent and beloved Rhode Island jazz banjo player. Pick up tickets at the Welcome Desk – limit of four tickets per person. For more information, call 739-5440 x9758. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane. This event is free and open to all.
