Big Green & Clean

Campers at the Boys & Girls Club of Warwick summer camp celebrated Energy Star’s 20th Anniversary by taking on an energy saving/environmental awareness service project. They made duct tape belts and trash tongs to use in a cleanup of the Buttonwoods Beach in front of the Masonic Park where the camp is held. They also came up with team shirts, calling themselves "Big Green & Clean.” Projects have been posted on the Energy Star website and can be voted on by the public. Prizes for the winning project participants include a Radio Disney Party, tickets to the Boston Red Sox, tickets to New England Aquarium, Blink Art Gift Certificates and tickets to the Museum of Science.
