Boost for Welcome Back

The Rhode Island Health Care Association (RIHCA) recently presented the Rhode Island Welcome Back Center at Dorcas Place Adult and Family Learning Center with a $5,000 donation. RIHCA is Rhode Island’s largest association of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, comprising 64 of Rhode Island’s 84 skilled nursing centers. The Rhode Island Welcome Back Center helps to re-credential internationally trained health care professionals who seek to resume their careers in the United States. “We’re thrilled to support a cause that helps place qualified employees in long-term care. The Center fills a tremendous void in Rhode Island, by helping skilled workers fulfill the requirements necessary to attain meaningful employment in their field,” said Virginia Burke, RIHCA president/CEO.
