To the Editor:
As one of the founders of the Warwick Boys and Girls Club, I was sorry to have missed this wonderfully attended April 7 celebration held at the Warwick Country Club. Two of the most beautiful human beings, current executive director Lara D’Antuono and former director Flo St. Jean, were honored by being inducted into the Club’s Hall of Fame. The success of our three clubs is a tribute to their enormous contributions.
I would be remiss in not recognizing the others who deserve sincere applause for incredible services. Past presidents June Langevin, the neverending benefactor Warren Galkin, Mayor Scott Avedisian, gifted members of the board of directors, dedicated employees, generous supporters, and the Warwick Beacon’s John Howell.
There are so many others who have served so unselfishly during these past 50 years. My heart and thanks go out to all of them with deep appreciaton.
