The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick’s Annual Dinner, Auction and $10,000 Cash Raffle is the organization’s biggest fundraising event. It’s fun, full of opportunities to win silent and live auction items – and great odds at winning a $10,000 cash raffle. But, as they say, “You’ve got to play to win.”
The Great Futures Gala is being held at Warwick Country Club Saturday, April 7 at 6 p.m. with an auction item preview. Dinner, silent and live auctions, and the $10,000 raffle start at 7 p.m. Auction items include catered dinners, tickets to major league sporting events, and lots more. At this year’s event, the organization’s Community Hero Award will be given to Hasbro, Inc. and the Hall of Fame Award will go to former BGCW executive director Flo St. Jean.
Two hundred dollars will admit two to the event and comes with one $10,000 raffle ticket. The cash raffle ticket alone is $100. Buy one for yourself, or split the cost with family, friends or co-workers. You do not have to be present to win. And if you are not present, you can now increase your odds of winning a portion of the grand prize by checking off the box indicating you are willing to split the prize with other finalists. Odds of winning the $10,000 Cash Raffle are great since there are only 400 tickets available.
All sales support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick, whose membership exceeds more than 1,400 youngsters. Annual club dues of $30 are not nearly enough to cover the costs of its wide-ranging programming. Due to the organization’s mission of providing a safe, supervised, fun place for kids to go after school, no child is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.
To purchase $10,000 Cash Raffle tickets, send a check or visit the club administrative office at 42 Frederick St., Warwick. Event reservations can also be made by check or in person or visit www.wbgclubs.org and pay online. They welcome additional sponsors and auction item donations. To learn more, visit the website or call the Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick at 467-4385.
