The private Warwick Country Club is the site of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick's 41st Annual Golf Tournament to be held Sept. 23. The 18-hole Donald Ross designed Par 69 seaside course is the only one in the state recognized by Golf Digest as a "Best Course.”

BGCW's popular tournament kicks off at 394 Narragansett Bay Avenue, Warwick with registration and a buffet lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. When play is done, guests can enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres followed by dinner and an awards program.

Golfers will be eligible to win prizes for numerous contests including closest-to-the-pin and longest drive. Participants can also take part in raffles for some great prizes including golf equipment, restaurant gift certificates and more.

The cost for individual players is $200; foursomes are $800. Corporate sponsor levels range from $150 for a Tee Sign to $2,000. All donations are tax deductible and help BGCW provide important after-school activities and vacation camps and basketball leagues for more than 1,500 area youth.

Visit BGCW's website at www.wbgclubs.org to fill out an entry form. For more information call 467-4385 or email eleanor@wbgclubs.org.
