Bruins Hockey day benefits Home & Hospice

Area residents can help support Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island (HHCRI), the state’s largest and oldest hospice provider, with an afternoon of fun watching the Providence Bruins take on the Worcester Sharks.

Family Day with the Providence Bruins hockey team takes place on Sunday, Feb. 17 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence. The fun starts at 1 p.m. with a youth hockey game, buffet lunch, silent auction, giveaways, raffle drawings and refreshments. Game time is 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person.

Proceeds will benefit Camp BraveHeart, HHCRI’s children’s bereavement camp. Each year, Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island helps more than 90 children begin the process of healing after a loss. The camp, now in its fifth year, is supported, in part, by the generous contributions of HHCRI donors.
