Norwood Neighborhood Assn.
The general membership meeting of the Norwood Neighborhood Association will be held Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Norwood Boys and Girls Club. A brief business meeting will be held followed by a holiday celebration with snacks and refreshments. All are welcome.

GFWC Warwick Women's Club
The GFWC Warwick Women's Club will hold its monthly meeting Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center. George Schuster will speak at the meeting about the Rocky Point Foundation. Friends of Warwick Animal Shelter

Richmond Grange
The Richmond Grange #6, 690 Usquepaugh Rd. Aristocats Free Concert
Lloyd Kaplan's Aristocats will be performing a free concert Nov. 17 from 7-8:45 p.m. at the Rochambeau Library in Providence. The concert is part of series featuring songs by Jewish composers and lyricists.

Food Drive
The annual food drive of the Riverview Association will be held Nov. 19. Please drop off non-perishables to Frank Ferri and Tony Caparco's front porch, 38 Lippitt Ave., by 3p.m.

Turkey Dinner
The First Congregational Church of Warwick, 715 Oakland Beach Ave., will be having a special Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 19 from 4-7 p.m. The menu includes turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, turnip, squash, cranberry sauce, dessert and beverages. Their famous apple crisp will be dessert and also for sale. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 children 6-11, children 5 and under eat free.

Roast Beef Supper
Richmond Grange #6 will be holding a roast beef supper Nov. 19 at Richmond Grange Hall, 690 Usquepaugh Rd. (Route 138), West Kingston. The menu will include roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, cole slaw, green beans, johnnycakes and homemade pies. There will be two sittings, one at 5:30 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. The price is $12 for adults, $6 for children, For reservations call Karen at 782-4005 and leave your name, number of guests and choice of time along with your phone number. Proceeds will help purchase gift cards for Families of Deployed Soldiers.

Swinging Squares
The Swinging Squares November dance will be held Nov. 19 from 8-10 p.m. at the East Smithfield Neighborhood Center, 7 Esmond St., Smithfield. The caller will be Bob Butler, cuer is Margene Jarvis. The theme will be Mickey Mouse’s Birthday.

Santa Paws Pet Pictures
The Warwick Animal Shelter is hosting their annual Santa Paws Pet Pictures Nov. 19 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Holiday themed photos will be taken at the Warwick Animal Shelter, 101 Arthur Devine Blvd., off Jefferson Blvd. near D'Angelo. The cost is $20 for the session and 20 photos with envelopes or three 5"x7" prints. For an appointment or more information call 468-4377. All money raised from this event will benefit the shelter animals.

Fall Music Festival
A local band showcase to benefit the RI Family Shelter will be held Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Tri-City City Elks Lodge, 1919 West Shore Rd. Doors open at 6 pm. Little League Registration
The Warwick American Little League will have registration for the 2012 season Nov. 19 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Warwick Public Library on Sandy Lane. Please bring proof of address and your child’s birth certificate. They will also be having field cleanup at the same time. Greenwood Elementary School is rekindling its seasonal tradition with a holiday bazaar Dec. 3 from 10 a.m.-2p.m. They are looking for crafters, vendors, artisans and more. Table rental is $25. Crafters Wanted
Calling all crafters, vendors and artisans! On Nov. 18 the John Brown Francis School PTA will be hosting a "Shopping Spectacular" and are looking for vendors, crafters, artisans and more. The event will be held from 5-9 p.m. in the gym at JBF with set-up beginning at 3 p.m. Rental space is $35 and all money raised will benefit the students of John Brown Francis School. Old Warwick Grange #41
The Grange is a fraternal community service, non-profit organization with a special interest in rural life and the traditions of faith, patriotism, leadership and family values. Grange-where the whole family can go and grow. Help them to help others. The meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. No meetings in July or August. The Grange hall is located at 1175 West Shore Rd.

Developmental Screening
The Child Outreach Department of the Warwick Public Schools, in cooperation with the Volunteers of Warwick schools (VOWS), conducts regular preschool screening clinics. All Warwick preschool children between the ages of 3 and 5 are offered the Early Screening Inventory-Revised (ESI-R). This is a free service provided by the Warwick Public Schools. Participation in a Developmental Screening is a long established program of the Warwick School Department that provides families with information about their child's development and offers information about community resources. Free Sunday Lunch
St. Paul Lutheran Church, 389 Greenwich Ave., is offering a free lunch for anyone in need of a meal or companionship. All are welcome every Sunday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. For more information call 737-6758.

Rhode Island Pet Bird Club

Photographic Society of RI

Donate Shop
The Donate Shop is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit thrift store that provides free clothing to families in crisis. They are an all volunteer organization that relies solely on the support of the community to continue this endeavor. The shop has a new location at 400 Warwick Ave., Unit #14, between Dunkin Donuts and Shaw's. Domestic Violence Volunteers
The Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center (EBCC) is currently seeking volunteers for their Speakers Bureau. All volunteers will be trained to provide outreach, as a representative of EBCC, to communities in their service area through attendance at health and community fairs and by fulfilling requests for informational speaking engagements. Volunteers will receive thorough and specialized training under the supervision of the agency services coordinator before beginning this work. Fife and Drum Corps
The Kentish Guards Fife and Drum Corps rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. at the Kentish Guards Armory on Pierce St. in East Greenwich. Free lessons on playing the fife are provided to men and young men interested in joining the corps.

Fife & Drum Corps
Join the Pawtuxet Rangers Fife & Drum Corps of Warwick and continue the great tradition of Colonial/Revolutionary history through music. The Fife & Drum Corps meets every Wednesday night at Wyman Elementary School from 6:30-8 p.m. The corps is open to anyone over the age of 12. Drum and fife instruction is available to beginners.
