Caring service for 25 years
Cornerstone Adult Services celebrates the dedication and caring services that have been provided over the past 25 years by employee Kim Morris, of Warwick on Thursday. Kim Morris began her long career as a case manager with Cornerstone Adult Services in July, 1986. She earned her MA in Agency Counseling from Rhode Island College, and over the years, she has specialized in providing care to persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, and is often viewed as a lifeline for caregivers. With much compassion and empathy, Morris facilitates support groups, shares information about home and community based services, helps families navigate the long term care system, and provides much needed ongoing support and guidance. Over the years, she has touched the lives of thousands of frail elders and their caregivers, and she continues to be deeply committed to helping families care for their loved one with Alzheimer’s disease.
