Carol Jean (Almonte) Haslett of Warwick, Fairlee, Vermont and Hermitage, Tennessee passed away on August 13, 2018. She was the wife of Thomas Hunter Haslett.

Born on October 26, 1942, Carol was the daughter of the late Irene Maria (Dandeneau) Almonte and James J. Almonte, both from Rhode Island. Carol retired from Vanderbilt University Biomedical Research Department.

She is survived by her son, Brian M. Haslett of Nashville, Tennessee; her daughters, Robin J. (Haslett) Polikoff of New York, Sherrie-Lou (Haslett) Valdez of Marietta, Georgia, and Cathie-Ann (Haslett) Rodgers of Wichita, Kansas; and her brother, Frank J. Almonte of North Providence. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. in Norwood Baptist Church, 48 Budlong Ave., Warwick, with a gravesite interment at Pawtuxet Cemetery at 12:30 p.m.
