The Community College of Rhode Island will host two Enrollment Days this summer to help 2018 Rhode Island high school graduates enroll with free tuition this fall under the Rhode Island Promise scholarship program.

Enrollment Days will offer support with Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion, placement testing, academic advising and course registration.

The events will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, and Thursday, July 26, in Room 1040 at the college’s Knight Campus, 400 East Ave., Warwick. Students who plan to take the ACCUPLACER placement test should arrive by noon to provide enough time for testing.

Those attending should bring a photo ID, high school transcript and 2016 tax returns – for both the student and parents – and should plan to spend three to four hours at the event.

For qualified students, the Rhode Island Promise scholarship covers tuition and fees for students who enroll full time. For more information and frequently asked questions, please visit www.ccri.edu/ripromise.

Those who cannot attend one of the Enrollment Day events can apply to CCRI online and contact the college’s Advising and Counseling Center at 825-1240 or by email at advising@ccri.edu for assistance with placement testing and course selection.

The Community College of Rhode Island, New England’s largest community college, has full-service campuses in Warwick, Lincoln, Providence and Newport. CCRI enrolls an average of 15,000 students in credit courses and thousands more in noncredit and workforce training classes and programs.
