To the Editor:
This letter is to thank Mr. Jeffrey Wiggins, assistant vice president of T.F. Green Airport, for his unselfish assistance in helping to eliminate possible accidents on the road going from Airport Road to the end of Winslow Avenue. This narrow, long and winding road is used by hundreds of children, teens and parents every week for soccer practices and games.
However, it was without a centerline to keep traffic safe within the respective lanes. Having had an almost head-on collision experience, I called both the Warwick and airport operations departments for help. Gratefully, Mr. Wiggins had his department put the yellow centerline on the entire distance of the road. His cautious and prompt service to the citizens of Warwick is much appreciated.

It is nice to hear about a quick and easy fix to a problem. Also, a thank you goes a long way so I appreciate Mr. Nadeau making it public.
