Sometimes, in the busy rush of sports practices and PTA meetings and your kid’s school projects and all the other demands on your already stretched schedule, all you want is for someone else do the preparation and serving of your meals ~ even just one night out of the kitchen would be such a much-needed relief.

The thought of a steaming platter of General Tso’s Chicken, complimented by a cool, fruity drink to give you that little “get up and go”, would be the perfect antidote to those packed days. Why not make your way to the popular restaurant China Sea, right on Post Road, for the best Polynesian and Cantonese food in town – and let the attentive team there give you just the break you deserve this winter.

Whether you are dining in or calling for a take-out order, your list of meal options at China Sea is lengthy, varied and always palate-pleasing. Start your meal with one of China Sea’s specialty Polynesian Drinks, including the ever-popular Mai-Tai or the refreshing “Zombie”, a combination of rum, brandy and fresh tropical fruit juices. When you are ready for some heartier fare, try one of China Sea’s delicious appetizers, including BBQ spare ribs, crispy fried wontons, beef teriyaki sticks, buffalo wings, and spicy wing dings! Don’t forget the crab Rangoon, chicken dumplings and pork strips – and this is just the beginning!

Enjoy one of the many dinner platters at China Sea, such as the Lanai Duck (golden fried duckling, enhanced with whole lichee fruit and pineapple rings in a piquant sauce and sprinkled with shredded coconut) or the full-flavored Shrimp in Lobster Sauce platter. Included on the long list of delicious entrees are over 60 combination plates, including every variation of chicken, seafood, beef, duck and pork.

There are also Moo Shi Style offerings, dishes that are cooked with tender shredded meat, lily flowers, mushrooms, cabbage and eggs and served with four “pancakes.” The list of fried rice, soups, lo mein, egg foo yong and chow mein choices is seemingly endless. China Sea also accommodates their health-conscious diners, offering a variety of vegetarian dishes which can be prepared without added salt or MSG.

China Sea has a cozy dining area and full-service bar which are clean, colorful and inviting. This is a family-run restaurant which is fully committed to giving you a memorable culinary experience with friendly and efficient service, flavor-filled food and a warm, comforting ambiance.

China Sea is located at 1278 Post Road in Warwick, on the corner of Post and Bucklin Ave. Hours are Monday through Sunday, 12 pm to 10 pm daily. Take-out hours end at 9:30 pm. For more information or to order take-out, call 467-7440.
