City's new rescues

Rescue 3 and Rescue 4 were recently replaced with two new 2012 PL Custom/International terra stars. The purchase was initiated through the Diesel Equipment Replacement Grant program. The total cost of the new vehicles was $377,098 for which the city was reimbursed 25 percent through the grant program, a savings of $94,274.50.
