Civic Chorale annual Collegiate vocal solo competition is Jan. 26

The Rhode Island Civic Chorale & Orchestra (RICCO), Rhode Island’s oldest continuing community choral ensemble, will hold its fifth annual collegiate vocal solo competition. This year, four winners in the categories of Soprano, Mezzo-soprano (or Alto), Tenor and Baritone (or Bass) will appear as soloists with the Rhode Island Civic Chorale & Orchestra in its March 16, 2013 concert. The work on the program that will include the winning soloists is Schubert’s Mass No. 3 in B-Flat Major.
