Continental announces all-star teams


Warwick Continental Little League has announced its selections for the 2012 all-star season.

The 12-year-old team, managed by Al Mann, will be represented by Marcus Alexander, James Baldwin, Ryan Brady, Ryan Carlson, Steven Pham, Connor Haley, Matthew Martinez, Isaiah Mylers, Cameron Naylor, Dylan Palmiotti, Cristian Sanchez, Jeffrey Venter and Cory Vickers.

The team’s first game will be today at Narragansett at 5:30 p.m.

The 11-year-old team, managed by Rich Viti, will be represented by Aiden Areson, Nicholas Cehelsky, Kyle Hadfield, Cameron Jameson, Michael Macchioni, Michael Murphy, Tyler Noonan, Robert Petrarca, Max Prescott, Derek Razza, Cameron Riley and William Waggoner.

The team’s first game will be Wednesday, July 11, at Warwick American at 5:30 p.m.

The 10-year old team, managed by Mike Gannon, will be represented by Cody Anter, Brett Babcock, Jack Gannon, Tyler Gaumitz, Cameron Gothberg, Darek Lallo, Ryan Lennon, Maximus Macchioni, William Niles, Daniel Nygren, Edwin Ouimette and Michael Rossner.

The team has already played two games, and is currently 1-1. Its third game was scheduled for Wednesday, with the results unavailable at press time.
