Cornerstone holds early memory loss program

Cornerstone Adult Services is offering a comprehensive Early Memory Loss Program designed to enhance the overall quality of life of people affected by early memory loss, and to help them develop skills to assist them in remaining independent. The course content includes cognitive stimulation, memory enhancement, physical activity/exercise, expressive arts, stress reduction techniques, and social engagement. Education, resources and support will be provided, and a registered nurse will be on site for questions and consultation.

The Early Memory Loss Program will be held at Cornerstone Memory Care Center, 140 Warwick Neck Ave. Warwick on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. for eight weeks, beginning April 3rd. Registration is required and limited to 15 participants. For more information about the program, registration process and cost, contact Linda Sinnott, Program Director, at 739-2844.

Cornerstone Adult Services has five adult day health centers including a memory care center in Warwick, providing specialized programs to meet the needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and memory loss.
