County Cork Irish Pub Hearty fare and breathtaking views of the bay every day
In the land of the Blarney stone and lucky pots of gold, an expression rises up over the rolling emerald hills ~ "Slainte"! "Slainte", the word for "down the hatch" or "bottoms up", can be heard in pubs across the county -and now, in the Greenwich Cove home of County Cork Irish Pub. As soon as you walk into this authentic Irish pub, you can feel the spirit of this beautiful, distant land, and will want to join in the revelry. "Slainte" to you in bonny Warwick!
County Cork Irish Pub is the passion of Ireland native "Cora from Cork" and her husband Patrick. This welcoming, pub-style restaurant, just minutes from the Greenwich Bay Marina, is the ideal place to quench your thirst with a Guinness beer, Irish whiskey or maybe even one of this autumn's full-bodied pumpkin beers. As the season turns and the days grow colder, indulge in a bowl of County Cork's famous Guinness Irish Stew or clam-packed chowder.
This fall, house chef Shawn is serving up some homemade chili - Tennessee style! When the deep South meets the Irish palate, you are sure to have a feast of flavors ~ we are talking spicy and hot, with a puddle of potatoes sunk in the middle, smothered with melted cheese for an added flair. These favorites round out a full menu of hearty lunch and dinner options, and a list of daily specials such as Ribeye Steak and Calamari with Pepper Rings.
Owner Cora recently lent her lustrous voice to the Garden of Heroes ceremony at the State House. Though Irish, Cora is honored to sing the National Anthem of her adopted country and considers herself a "true patriot of the patriots" This football season, she celebrates our very own New England Patriots by offering up County Corks delicious .25 cent wings and pitchers of Coor's light for $14.00 and IPA's for $16.00.
County Cork Irish Pub is also a perfect destination to host your next party or fundraiser! What better place to surround your selves with 50 of your closet friends, teammates and loved ones than at this pub overlooking the sparkling bay? The outside terrace, open until it snows, will soon be bedecked with gas fires to light up the night. Perfection.
