Crossing into autumn

On Sunday, Goddard Park was devoid of summertime strollers, beach goers and picnickers. Instead, those few who braved the gray, blustery day donned rain boots and sweat shirts. The wooden bridge near the carousel in the park was damp with rainwater, and a handful of trees nearby displayed bright orange foliage – a surefire sign that autumn is upon us.
