Deborah A. Sweeney, 65, a retired bartender, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Golden Crest Nursing Home in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of Daniel T. Sweeney for 36 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William Gorman and Patricia A. (Kelly) Deady and stepdaughter of Robert Deady Sr. Deborah was a member and past president of the Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire Company Women’s Auxiliary, Warwick Elks Lodge Women’s Auxiliary and Warwick VFW Post Women’s Auxiliary.
Deborah was the loving mother of Jason P. Gorman (Annette), Danielle E. Laplume (Brian) and the late Anthony J. Cabral and loving grandmother of Ian, Olyvia, Brian, Tonya and Gary. She was the grandmother of the late A.J. Cabral and sister of William Gorman Jr., G. Patricia McGuirl and Robert Deady Jr.
