Documentary on WaterFire to be shown at Odeum this Saturday
By popular demand and through the efforts of William Raveis Realty, a premiere viewing of WaterFire: Art & Soul of a City will take place on Saturday evening at the newly renovated Odeum theater in East Greenwich. Tickets are on sale now at: TheOdeum.org, 885-4000 (Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and the Odeum Box Office.
Two-time New England Emmy award-winning executive producer and former television sportscaster Joe Rocco, in cooperation with WaterFire Providence and its creator, artistic director and award-winning sculptor Barnaby Evans, is the executive producer of this compelling one-hour program produced in high definition. A team of award-winning broadcast professionals shot and collected more than 50 hours of WaterFire video and colorful commentary from interviews with a variety of professionals from the worlds of art, architecture, history, government and business during the summer of 2012. Evans and Rocco will be on hand after the screening on March 16 to talk about the making of this documentary and take questions from the audience.
