Dodging raindrops at Red Andrews

The Red Andrews Tournament had its official beginning on Monday, but rain forced the first two games to Tuesday. American won the opener, 5-3 over West Side. In the second game, Warwick National and North Kingstown were locked in a 0-0 tie and about to start the bottom of the third inning when the skies opened, forcing a suspension. Before the heavy rain, National pitcher Jarell Barton-Johnson struck out five in two innings of work. Christian Melucci, Dylan Palumbo, Dave Palumbo and Jacob Smith all had hits for National.
