Doo-Wopp Hall of Fame to celebrate gala 10th Anniversary


The Doo-Wopp Hall of Fame of America will celebrate its gala 10th Anniversary Concert at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday night, Sept. 15. The six-act concert, featuring many of the original artists from the 1950s and 1960s, will take place in The Fox Theatre starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at the Foxwoods box office or by calling 1-800-200-2882 or online at Tickets are $57 and $47.

"This is our biggest concert ever at Foxwoods in celebrating our 10th season at the biggest casino in North America," said Hall of Fame president/founder Harvey Robbins.

The show will feature The Legendary Teenagers (“Why Do Fools Fall in Love”); Dave Somerville, original lead singer of The Diamonds, back by popular demand (“Little Darlin’”); The Persuasions, the greatest all-time a cappella group; Ritchie Valens Review with Ernie Valens, (“LaBamba”); Louise Murray and The Hearts (“Lonely Nights”); The Jaynettes (“Sally Go Round the Roses”); and Harvey Robbins’ Rock ’N Roll All-Star Band.
