Westbay Community Action that has dedicated more than 50 years to developing sustainable programs in the local community, is the beneficiary of the first ever Dough Raiser Thursday, July 22 at Pizzeria UNO, 399 Bald Hill Road, Warwick, from 11 a.m. to closing.
UNO will donate up to 20 percent of your check to Westbay Community Acton.
This past year Westbay remained open during the pandemic, assisting residents of Kent County with our more than 40 programs and services. Westbay provided emergency curbside food pick up to more than 40,000 individuals while also assisting over 18,000 households with our other programs and services such as; Westbay Food Pantry, LiHEAP (Heating Assistance Program), Good Neighbor Energy Fund, Weatherization and Home Maintenance Program, all case management programs, Lead Center, all senior services, Rental Assistance, Intake services, Senior Nutrition, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Community Services, RI Works Support Program and Childcare services.
All proceeds from this event will allow Westbay to continue to provide the much-needed services to the residents of Warwick and Kent County.
