Earle M. Steere, 99, a resident of Cape Coral since 1989, formerly of Warwick, RI, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 in Cape Coral. Earle was preceded by his beloved wife, Grace Steere in 2013.

He was born February 3, 1920 in Chepachet, RI to the late Bernon and Irene Steere. Earle was of the Presbyterian faith. He was always a humble man and he helped all kinds of people, young and old, along the way. He founded The Warwick Cove Marina, which he owned for 30 years. He was an icon to the city of Warwick, RI after working for the American Oil Company for 16 years and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He will never be forgotten for all of his achievements.

He is survived by his loving sons: Clark Steere of Cape Coral, FL and Miles Steere (Kathy) of Warwick, RI; as well as two grandchildren, Nathan and Katelyn. He was predeceased by six siblings.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 between the hours of 4:00– 5:00 p.m. at Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7th Ter, Cape Coral, FL 33909. A private family graveside service will be held in RI.
