Ernest D. “Buster” Ferrelli, Jr.


Ernest D. “Buster” Ferrelli, Jr., 71, passed away Thursday at Coventry Health Center.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, he was a beloved son of Dorothy F. (Schofield) Ferrelli of Warwick and the late Ernest D. Ferrelli; he spent most of his life in Connecticut. Mr. Ferrelli was a machine tool operator for Holo-Krome, Inc. in New Britain, Conn. for 31 years until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of the Rhode Island and Connecticut Club for the Deaf. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling and was also a sports enthusiast.

He was the loving brother of David J. Ferrelli and his, wife Deborah of Amherst, New Hampshire and Janet E. Galloway of Cumberland. Cherished uncle of several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his grandniece Katie Galloway.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Clement Church, 111 Long St., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
