On April 20, dozens of children of all ages joined in for a special performance by Cinderella and her friends from Festival Ballet Providence at Barrington Books Retold in Garden City.
At first the children were treated to a reading of “Cinderella” by Valerie Cookson-Botto, Outreach Coordinator for Festival Ballet Providence, and then a Festival Ballet ballerina, Kailee Felix as Cinderella, entertained them.
The children then made Cinderella brooms in an arts and crafts session and then were led in a dance by Valerie Cookson-Botto to conclude the program.
