The fifth grade classes of Cedar Hill Elementary School teachers Erin Branca and Claudia Penza’s conducted a schoolwide food drive as a project on strengthening the social emotional learning (SEL) skill of being altruistic. During the drive, 757 canned goods and donation items were collected from grades K-5 for the North Kingstown Food Pantry.
