Gail M. Barlow, 68, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Barlow, Patrol Officer, WPD (ret.).

A lifelong resident of Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Anita (Ballard) Anderson. Gail was an executive secretary for E G & G Sealol for 20 years, retiring in 1990. She was the first mother in the State of Rhode Island to give birth through In Vitro Fertilization. She loved animals and iceskating. Gail was “The Rock of the Family” and her children and grandchildren always came first. She was always upbeat, kind and vivacious.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Deiascha-Britte Heather Bancayanvega, and her husband, Gino, Kerry Marie Barlow, and Brianna Gail Barlow; grandchildren, Braydon Joel Barlow, Liam Joseph Kennedy, and Aaralyn Brielle Kennedy. Gail also leaves her sister, Karen Lanoue and her husband, Jerry.

Her funeral will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Warwick Avenue.
