The Gaspee Days Committee has not only spent the last nine months planning for the annual celebration but also how to make it easier to find out what’s planned with an update of its website.
According to President Jerry Peshka, the upgrade was needed "to keep up with high demand for information during events."
Jerry Peshka and a team of Gaspee volunteers met with a Warwick company, Cyber Technical and together worked to update Gaspee Days Committee website. The Gaspee Days logo was given some color, event pages were updated, a blog was added and the website is now mobile device friendly. The volunteers planning the updated website were well aware that fans of the Gaspee Days events search the information on their phones.
Peshka said, "Our supporters should find the website easier to navigate.”
