George L. Neary, 75, of Warwick passed away on March 26, 2017 at Kent Hospital.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of the late George E. and Honora F. (O’Brien) Neary. Mr. Neary was a Machinist for Leesona Corp. for 24 years until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the Apponaug Old Timers.
He was the loving father of Michael G. Neary and his wife, Cheryl of Coventry and Keith E. Neary of Portland, Oregon. Cherished grandfather of Hunter; great-grandfather of Bronson; and step-grandfather of Brittany Kosztala. Beloved brother of Patricia Lasso of Walingford, CT and the late Joan C. Ballard.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 3:00 p.m. in the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial will be private. www.murphyfuneralhomes.org
