Gilbert “Gil” D, Steinle, 76, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at his home in Kissimmee, FL. He was the husband of Pamela (Felgare) Steinle.
Born in Providence, he was the sone of late Leslie Steinle and Doris M. (Gustafson) Steinle. He lived most of his life in Warwick, before moving to Florida. He graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School. He worked for Lessona Corporation, Maron Construction and Easton Construction. He was a Little League coach for Warwick National Little League for many years. Gil was a big fan of all New England sports. He was President of the Warwick Open Chess Club.
Gilbert was the father of Robyn M. Steinle and G. David Steinle, Jr. and his wife, Roberta (Allcock) Steinle. He was the brother of Gerald Steinle and his wife Leslie (Perlow) Steinle. He was the grandfather of: Nicholas D. Campanile, Christina M. Campanile, Ryan Steinle and Kendall M. Steinle. He was the uncle to two nephews and two nieces and many cousins. He also leaves behind his pets: Sophie, Macy and Lucy.
