Why save the best for the last, when you can go for it right away?
That could well have been the manta Thursday at the Girl Scouts of Southern New England Cookies & Cocktails celebration at the Crowne Plaza. More than 125 turned out to sample the innovative treats all worthy of being desserts created from Girl Scout cookies.
Mario Hilario of Channel 10 anchored the event that included remarks from board chairman George Shuster, national board member Valarie Gelb, GSSNE CEO Pam Hyland and Sydney Rolle of South Kingstown Troop 657. A silent auction was also part of the event.
