Gloria C. Buonanno, for 68 years, was a loving wife and inseparable companion to her late husband, Albert.

A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and true friend, at 95 years young, she was cherished and admired by so many. Gloria was happiest when celebrating with her family, be it a holiday dinner, a casual family gathering, or sharing special occasions with her five daughters and her large, extended family. With dignity and grace, Gloria passed away on Saturday, May 20th, 2017.

We want to thank our Mother for the beautiful life she gave us; her unique sense of humor, her endless patience, her kind and gentle spirit and her unwavering support.

Gloria had the innate ability to be a best friend to her five surviving daughters: Carole Vincent (and Ron) of East Greenwich; Sharon Vallaro (and the late Vincent ) of Cranston; Loraine Vincent (and Fred) of Cranston; Denise Russ (and Randy) of Pawcatuck, CT; and Verena Grossi (and George) of Cranston.

She was also blessed with 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren as well as three brothers: Donald Marchetti, Thomas Marchetti and Richard Marchetti. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Jane Marchetti, sister, Vivian and brothers, Carl and Robert.

Her funeral will be held from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception, Cranston, at 10 a.m. Visiting Hours: Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will held at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery,

Exeter, RI.
