Hawks edge Pats in unified action


Unified volleyball took center stage at Pilgrim last Wednesday afternoon as the Pats welcomed in Hendricken for a regular-season tilt. The Hawks took the first two games to prevail, but Pilgrim delivered a big moment when it won the third game for the final 2-1 margin. Hendricken improved to 2-2 with the victory, while Pilgrim fell to 0-4. The Hawks will be back in action Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. when they host East Greenwich. Pilgrim has a week off before visiting East Greenwich on Oct. 17.
