Helen R. Nell (Hebert) Dolan, 91, of Post Road, Warwick, died March 3, 2012 at Pawtuxet Village Care & Rehabilitation Center, Warwick. She was the wife of the late John F.M. Dolan. Born in West Warwick, the daughter of the late John B. and Susan (Winward) Hebert, she lived in Warwick for 65 years. She was a graduate of St. Michael School and St. Xavier Academy in Providence. Mrs. Dolan was a former employee of E.A. Adams & Son and the Speidel Corporation in Providence. She assisted her husband in his upholstery business in Warwick for 10 years. She was a past president of the Whirlaways Square Dance Club and a member of the Whirl-A-Rounds. She was also a member of the St. Xavier Alumnae Association, the Warwick Historical Society and the Pilgrim Senior Center choral group and fun and games group. She is survived by a daughter, Ann M. Brook of Narragansett, and two grandchildren, Christopher N. Brook and Jennifer L. McKenna, both of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Mary M. Clarke, who was the organist at St. Catherine Church in Apponaug for 50 years. Her funeral will be held March 10 at 8:30 a.m. from Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit from 8-8:30 a.m. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
